Bozeman has the chance to create something extraordinary—but community support is the final piece needed. Gallatin Valley Land Trust (GVLT), in partnership with the City of Bozeman and generous private donors, has launched a campaign to build Bikefill Community Bike Park, the area’s next big outdoor adventure destination.
Planned for 66 acres between Snowfill Recreation Area and the old city landfill, this project will transform previously impacted land into a vibrant, all-ages community bike park designed for fun, connection, and healthy recreation.
What’s Coming to Bikefill?
This park is more than just a few trails—it’s a thoughtfully designed bike haven offering something for every rider:
✅ For Beginners:
Smooth trails, pump tracks, and skill-building zones to help new riders grow confidence and have fun.
✅ For Intermediate Riders:
Miles of cross-country trails and professionally built cyclocross features for riders ready to level up.
✅ For Advanced Riders:
More technical flow trails and dirt jumps built for big thrills and bold moves.
✅ For Everyone:
Many trails will be wide enough to accommodate adaptive mountain bikes, making the park welcoming and accessible for all.
City-funded improvements to McIlhattan Road and a new parking lot will also provide improved access to both Bikefill and Snowfill.
Why Now? Why It Matters?
An incredible 85% of the $4.5 million goal has already been identified or secured through lead donors and City contributions. That means only $700,000 remains to bring this dream to life.
